We are seeking an organized and motivated Intern Administrative Specialist to support our team and help serve our customers. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience and insight into the insurance industry.
- Respond to client inquiries by phone and email regarding billing, account updates, and general questions (no policy advice)
- Take messages and communicate information to licensed agents
- Contact clients about overdue payments and account issues
- Coordinate with underwriters to ensure smooth communication
- Encourage clients to leave online reviews to enhance our agency’s reputation
- Schedule insurance review appointments with team members
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
- Manage office supplies and equipment
- Accurately enter and update client information in our system
- Keep detailed records of policies, renewals, claims, and correspondence
- Assist licensed agents with administrative tasks as needed
- Process client payments and send documents professionally and promptly
- Help clients set up and access their online accounts
- Send policy confirmations, renewal notices, and other important communications
- Follow up on overdue payments while maintaining positive client relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Customer service experience is preferred but not required
- Comfortable using computers and online tools
- Team player who can also work independently
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
- Friendly and able to build positive relationships with clients and coworkers
- Eager to learn and develop in the insurance field
- Practical experience in the insurance industry

- Our office is open 9:00am - 5:00pm Weekdays.
- We currently have 3 team members at our agency.
- We have 15 years of combined insurance experience in our office.
